Crafts part 2

I don't believe that anyone reads my blog anymore, since I had such a long hiatus away from the internet. However, I will still post when I see fit as part of my journal, since I have been terrible at keeping one of those.

The first week in January I had a Facebook friend post this on their status, "Pay it forward 2011: I promise to send something handmade to the first five people who leave a comment here. They must in turn post this and send something they make to the first five people who comment on their status. The rules are that it must be handmade by you and it must be sent to your five people sometime in 2011. Note...I get to pick what to make for you. :)" Last week I finally got pictures of the items I made for 4 of the people and got them sent out in the mail. I decided to make them their own temple packet. I thought it would be a nice touch for those that are married to have their name and anniversary on it. Here are pictures of them.
This is the St. George Temple

Now you can see the general design of the packet, I have included zoomed in pictures of the rest of the embroidery.

This is the Bountiful Temple

This is the Timpanogos TempleLast but not least, the Salt Lake City Temple

It was a lot of fun to serve my friends and make them this special present. If you have time, post the same status and have fun making time to serve someone else.
